SYDNEY FAT STOCK SALES. SYDNEY August 19.
Sixty New Zealand fat wethers sold at
prices which ranged from 31s to 33sv Some lots were withheld in consequence of the decline in prices.
Country reports indicate that the wheat area this year is somewhat less than last. Ruin is urgently wanted.
August 21.
At the fat sheep sales 22,000 were offered. Prices generally showed an improvement on the last sale. The majority of New Zealand consignments had not arrived. About 400 previously unsold were offered. There was a strong demand, and prices ranged from 28s toi 37a.
August 25.
New Zealand crossbred wethers afi Homebush made from 26s to 40s. Bullocks made up to £23 15s, averaging from £21 19=> 4d to £22 4s Bd.
