Game 6296.— "Cross" Sixth Game.
The game was continued for a while, though with no advantage on either side, and ultimately drawn.
BENSON v. JACOBSON.
Last week we gave some particulars and two of the games in tho Benson-Jacobson match in London. The following, from the Leeds Mercury, is the sixth game.
Game 6297.— "Ke150." (Restricted opening: 10 15, 24 19.)
(a.) Varying from the Ferrie-Jortlan match games, where 8 11 is played, followed by 23 18, 17 14, etc., and White gets the better game.
(b) Here we think Mr Jacobeon failed to gia6p the full advantage of his position; 29 25 sets up a veTy difficult problem for Black to face, and we doubt if he can draw. The diagram following shows the Mtualioii ■ —
