Theie was a large attendance at the stock sal? to-day, when about 2500 sheep were offered. Prices throughout were good, and the bidding keen; consequently everything offered ohanged hands. Fat wetheis brought 14s to 15s 7d; fat ewes, 9s 6d to lls 6d ; two, four, six, and eight-tooth ewf-s, in luiub, sold up to 13s lOd; old ewes, ;?s lid to 7s 4d ; hoggets, 8s to 9s 9d. Cattle: About CO he-id were penned. Fat steers 1-iought £5 10s to XT! ss; fat cows, £-1 to £~ 32s 6d ; two-yenr-old steers and he»fcrs sold up to £4 10s ; ve«rlings, £1 10s to £'i Is; calves, £1 t» £1 10s; cows coming to calving, £4 to £7 s=.
