RULES OF TROTTING.

Rule 37— Delete the figure "10" and inserb the figure " 9." Rule 44 — Delete from the word "acknowledging," in the ninth line, all words to €he end of the sentence in the tenth line. Rule 54 — Delete the words "in harness races," in the sixth line, and insert "ride or" after the word "to" in the sixth line. Insert "ride or" after the word "to" in the seventh lin*. Add after -word "race" in the last line "without special permission from the stewards/ 1 Rule £3— Delete the figures "53" and insert " 56."

By the Greymouth Trotting Club. — New Rule — "It shall be compulsory for clubs to appoint a steward, whose duty it will be to inspect and take down the description of each horse presented for registration. Owners, when registering horses, must present them to the bteward." New Rule — Printed lists, containing a full description of all horses registered, must be forwarded to all clubs." By the New Brighton Trotting Club.— Rule 16 — Add after tho word "of in the sixth line the words "or against " By the Tahuna Park Trotting Chib.— New Rule— Two-year-old Hiorbes shall not be allowed to start in any race over a distance exceeding one mile. By the Plumpton Park Trotting Club.— Rule 13 — After the word "patrols" insert tho words '"who may or may not be members of the club."
