The amount of revenue colk>oted at the Custom House during June last on goods cleared for consumption was £28,511 Is 6d. The beer duty amounted to £1800 4a sd, and the gold exported was 36300z, and was valued at £14,299. For June of 1901 the duty on goods was £26,533 13s Id, on beer £1818 2s lid, and the gold exported was 1+,5760z, the value being £58.802. There has therefore been an increase in the duty on goods amounting to £1977 8s sd, tho beer duty has remained much the same, and the gold export has fallen off by 10,8960z.
