PRINCE IMPERIAL GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.
The adjourned 3econd annual general meeting of shareholders was held in the company's office, on Wednesday, when there were eight shareholders present, including two Tiararu shareholders, who had proxies represeiitu-g about 1000 shares. In moving the adoption cf the report and balance sheet, Mr Hancock (the chairman) stated that two of the Rankleburn claims had now been pre=peited, and the piospects were anything but satisfactory, and the question now to be i»ccd by the Princs Imperial Company was whether it was desired to have the claim prospected or to go into liquidation. Mr Blackie moved—" That the company is satisfied with the prospecting done onthe other claims, and dees not wish to iiavr* the claim prospected. Mr Riddell seconded the motion, which was carriad. Mr Caldwell (Timaru) moved—" That it be a Tecommendption to the directors that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders be called within a month from date for the purpose of considering the question of liquidation." Mr Rudd (Timaiu) seconded the motion, which was carried.
Messrs Frost and Aitken were re-elected d.rectors and Mr Powell auditor.
Mr Rudd moved a hearty vote of thanks to the directors -for the able way in which, in his opinion, they had carried on the^ affairs of the company. Mr Caldwell, in seconding the motion," said it gave him great pleasure to do so. The motion, on being put to the meeting, was carried unanimously.
