Twenty thousand sheep were offered at the fat-stock market to-day. There was splendid cctfttßetituw, aad. extreme ratti prevailed* beat

wethers selling at up to 41s and ewes to 18s 6d. A small^number of crossbred wethers, on account of Mr G. H. Scales. Wellington, were sold. Forty-thTee realised 29s 9d, and four fetched 26s 3d. Lambs were lower than last week. Best, up to 14s j good, 9s to 10s. Cattle had a brisk sale. Prime realised £16; good, from £9. Butter: Choice, 17d to 18d; prime factory, id less.
