G. S. Adams, section 17, block X, Waikaka; M. Cavanagh, unsurveyed land adjoining section 13, block I, Alton ; and Jamea Scott, section 22a, block IX, Wyndham. T. Middleton was granted a title to sections 7 and 8, block 111, Seaward Bush township, and section 721, Hokonui (Centre Bush), was transferred from T. Osbom to J. Nicoll. For non-compliance with conditions the following holdings were forfeited : — D. Fraßer, sections 4 and 11 and 14 and 25, block IV, Waimatuku township; M. and M. P. Davanney, section 1, block XXIII, Wairaki-Bowmont, and J. F. Davanney, section 2, block XXIII, Wairaki. It was resolved to give notice of intention to forfeit, if rents were not paid within three months, in the following cases : — D. Carmichael and Co., pastoral run 415b, Wallace County; W. H. Tucker, pastoralrun 511, Campbell Island; and W. Snodgrass, pastoral run 496, Te Anaii. Minor matters were dealt Ajath in committee and the board adjourned. Frozen flounders from the Thames district are now on sale at Christchurch. The residents of Tokonui and the, surrounding districts passed the following resolution at a meeting held last week: — "That this meeting regrets that the Minister of Public Works has not made a start at the extension of the Seaward Bush railway from Waimahaka to Tokonui, promised some time ago. We therefore hope that a start will be made -without further delay, as wo have a right to expect this from assurances already given." :
