JEG to £S 10s, pnnie heifeis, £8 17s 6d to £9 17s Gd . others. £5 15s to £8, prime cov.s, £8 10s to £9 15s. otheis £5 2s Gd to £8. Fat Sheep. — About 1000, including moie wethers than Ufeinl, were offered for sale. Expoit buyers competed keenly, and also buying good ewes, which rose Is to Is Gd. Prime wethers made 15s 6d to 17s Cd , lighter, 13s 6d to 15s , prime ewes, from 15s 7d to lGs lid ; good, 12s Cd to 15s; others, 9s Cd to 12s. Fat Lambs.— The total brought foiward was 880, mostly of good quality. There was a rise of from 6d to 9d per head. Six hundred were sold for export at from 10s 6d to 14s, averaging 12s 9d , 2UO went to butchers at 8s 9d to 10s Bel. Stoic Sheep. — 16,000, mostly fioni Nelson, were offered for sale, and theie was a good sale for all sorts, especially for forward wethpr= smd young ewes Forward wethois biought from 12s -to 13s 7d , medium, 10s 9d to lls 9d , backward and small, 8s to 10s 3d, good, young ewes from 12s 9d to 13s Id , fair sorts, 9s 2d to 10s 6d , aged, 6s 6d to 8s Id , forwaid lambs, from 7s to 8s sd , backward, Gs Cd to 8s Id ; shorn, 4«. Pigs — 560, including some good lots, were placed in tho fat pens. There was an improved sale for these, porkers being scarce, and large stores were kept up by a southern buyer, but little pigs wore unsaleable. Baconers brought from 30s to 47s Gd, or 3d to 3hd per lb; porkers from 24s to 31s, or 3|d to 4d per lb ; strong stores, 12s to 235.
