ARROWTOWN, April 4. The Glenrock Company cleaned up for Marclr last, obtaining 128oz 18dvt 18gr smelted gold! * from 220 tons of stone. ' Mr AY. Patton, the mine manager, reports that the reefin the stopea is still very mullocky, but there are indications, of impTovement there. There is no change to- - report from the incline face, which is hard and progressing slowly.

SKIPPERS, April 3.
Rich stone was struck on Monday last in the main adit of the Shotover Quartz Mining Company, which 132-9 ft long. * The stone is about. 3ft wide. It is pronounced the best ever seen in the mine, and is estimated to go from loz to 2oz per ton. The walls of the lode and. the country indicate permanence, and therecan be no doubt but that a valuable discovery has been made. Gold is thickly studded over the stone, and all tho fractures .show that itgoes through the quartz in specs of a good body.
