RIVERSDALE.

April 1. — Of late the weather has been veiy mixed, but the last few days have been perfect harvest weather, and fsvrrncis have been very busy leading in. A little more of such fine days will see the bulk of the crop secured, and not too soon either. The yield so far appears to ba good, but not above the average. Stack Fire.— Mr Wilson Hall was unfortunate enough to have two of Lis wheat stacks burned last week, and so far £>s I can learn they were not insured. The cause of the fire is not known. Mr Hall is unlucky m respect of fires, as he had a quantity of grain burned last year. Building. — Mr R. Jopp's new residence is rapidly being -completed, and he should soon get into it. Mr and Mrs Jopp returned from their honeymoon last week. Amusements. — We have had very little in this way lately, but to-night a kirtematograph company is to exhibit, and no doubt there will be a- good house, as these views are always interesting when not faked.
