The following interesting game was played in Dunedin between Messrs J. Pimley and F. E. Hilliker in a friendly bout recently . — Game 6059.—" Cross." Hilliker's move.

(a) One evening recently in the Otago Club room we noticed a " Cross " game opened this way between two of the members.
