BELL.— On- 'the 'Bth September, at Perth, Captain Archibald Bell, dearly beloved husband 1 of Jessie Margaret Bell, and late of Dunedin ; aged 64 yes.rs. CASSELS.— On the 29th September, at his residence, Bay View road, South Dunedin, John Cassels, ex-sergeant of police, and beloved husband of Ellen Cassels; aged 75 years. R.I.P. CLARK.— On the 26th September, at her residence, 61 Union street, Janet Christie Peddie, beloved wife of A<Jam Sprott Clark, and daughter of the late James Peddie, writer, Stirling, Scotland; aged 62 years. COOK.— On the 27th September, at Chi-ist-church, 1 Mary Georgina, widow of the late Edward Cook, solicitor, Dunedin; aged 64 years. " With Christ, which is far better." LINDSAY.— On the 18th September, at St. Clair, Dunedin, the wife of Thomas Lindsay, White Sow Valley, after a long illness ; aged 36 years. Deeply regretted. M'CAFFRY.— On the 26th September, James M'Caffry, farmer, late of Catlins; aged 65 years. R.I.P. M-KINLASY.— On the 23rd September, at Naseby, Norman Ambrose, beloved son of Alexander Greenlcss and Eliza Catherine M'Kinlay; aged 23 years. Deeply regretted. MALCOLM.— On the 25th September, at her residence, Howe street (suddenly), Olivia Molesworth, beloved wife of James Malcolm, master mariner ; aged 68 years.
