LONDON, September 26. - The Colonial Consignment Company have declared a dividend of- 7 per cent. £5337 is carried over to the consignors' distribution fund.

The Bank of Australasia's half-yearly report and 'balance sheet show the deposits to 'be £514,108,276 ; cash and securities, £5,771,940; and bills, £13,822,940. - The New Zealand Shipping Company have declared a dividend of 4 per cent., and ordered the construction of a 10,000ton steamer. - Wheat Market.— -8000 quarters of Victorian October shipment wheat sold at 32s 6d, and two Australian cargoes sold at 32s 3d. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,420,000 quarters, and for the Continent 980,000 quarters. Bank Shares. — Australasia, £75 (ex interest) ; New South Wales, £44 ; Union, £37 ; National of New Zealand, £3 ; New Zealand 4 per cent, guaranteed stock, £101 10s ; New Zealand Loan and Mercantile 4 per cenit. prior lien -debentures, £95.
