" 110 Problems intended for competition will be accepted up to and including those posted . and bearing a post office stamp not later than the 3ist March, 19(31. Not more than three problems fioni any one competitor will be accepted. The tourney is open to all the world. Problems intended for competition must bo clearly and neatly diagrammed, and two copies of each diagram must be sent. Tha problems must bear a mocto, and the aiame and address of the composer must be sent in a sealed envelope marked with the motto, and which will not be opened until after the problems have been adjudicated upon and the awards niade. A solution tourney in connection with_ the above will also be held, in which there will be bwo prizes of 10s 6d and 5s respectively. The conditions of the solution tourney will be antoounced about the beginning of next year.
