Fitzsimmons has now announced his intention of retiring from the ring. -

Mr A. C.'lslip, of Maheno Hotel, is making special arrangements for accommodating anglers visiting Maheno during the coming season. He has had his hotel thoroughly reno-A-ated and has also obtained a stock of tha best liquors, a license having noAV been granted the house. Fishing may be obtained within 300 yards of the hotel, but those desiring to go farther away may engage traps or horses which will be kept at the hotel for hire.
