In the cricket county' championship, won by Yorkshire, Lancashire is second, Kent and Sussex tied for third, Nottinghamshire is fifth, Warwickshire sixth, iiiddlescx, Gloucestershire, and Surrey seventh. Ranjitsinliji's batting average for the season is 90.
