"REEFTON, May 28.
The return from the Consolidated dredge is lloz 2dwt l]gr gold for 95 hotus. The Buller dredge has heen^slopped dining the week for the purpose of putting in a new screen, conse-* quently there was no return.
The Manager of tlie Big River mine repoits : Since the last report stoping has been cariicd on over No. 6 level". The stcie is 6ft long in the south end and 10ft in the north end. The winze under No. 1 level has been sunk Bft for bhe week. The stoae has cut out at present, with the exception of an odd lunip. Twenty geet of driving has been done in No. 2 level without developing anything yet. The contractors have driven on No. 1 intermediate. There is 1 no change to report in the giound passed through.
