MITCHELL'S VACUUM CARCASE BRANDING COMPANY.
r A well-attended meeting -of shareholders in Carcase Branding Company was held in the board room of the Agricultural Hall or the 22nd. Mr W. Carnerosa, M.H.R., occupied the chair, and explained fxilly the method of operating the patent, a model of which was on view. A description of the patent has already appeared in these columns. The meeting was very enthusiastic, and the opinion was expressed that the patent is a good one and evidently meets' a long-felt •frant, and is likely to meet with the approval •of the Home buyer, as it neither disfigures lion-discolours the carcase. All otner brands either colour or cut the carcase, but with the Mitchell brand the flesh itself forms its own brand in letters standing out in bold relief. The election of directors "was proceeded -with, and the following five gentlemen were appointed: — Messrs R. Cucldie, J. Stevenson tlrvine and Stevenson), H. Harraway, W. Wood, and TV.
