Three rising three-year-old fillies, by Wallace, King of Quality, and Lord Lyoji respectively, changed hands at £50 a piece ; and a Isrge number of good farm mares were disposed of at from £40 to £l < 3. In geldings, pride of place was taken by Mr Eobert Stayen's (Tumai) great gelding, rising eight years old. This magnificent horse was purchased by that noted "judge of Clydesdales, Mr William Gardiner, of Popakaio, at £54, who subsequently transferred Trim to Messrs Ross and Glendining, of the Eoslyn Woollen Mills.
