BEAUTIES GRAVF.
Yon mound so narrow, capped with velvet turf, Covers a form of Beauty's rarest birth ; A lovely form, made lovelier by the light That pale refinement, like the orb of night Shed o'er the features where the virtues met, And lent a charm as subtle as 'twas sweet. A gentle dignity, a quiet grace, That gave the expression of an angel's face: So like, indeed, that laid upon the bier, We scarcely deem'd her frame would linger here, Btvb gazeel, and thought that heaven would lend it wings To jscape the doom of meaner, grosser thinga. rr t t> m^um --• ■ •
