OTAGO GOLF CLUB.
The monthly competition for the St. Andrew's Cross by the members of the above club was played last Saturday. The afternoon was exceptionally warm, and, coupled with the longgrass, tended to make good scoring somewhat difficult. The game was against " Colonel Bogey," and, on the cards being handed in, Mr C. Turnbull was declared winner, his score being all square with the " Colonel." The following are the names of players and scores not more than 5 down: — Mr C. Turnbull .. Handicap 4 AH square Mr D. H. Stronach Handicap 4 2 down 'Mr T. G-ilray . . . . Handicap 3 4 down Mr J. R. Scott .. Scratch 5 down Mr F. M'Lean .. Handicap 9 5 down
