WOOL SALE.

The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association, (Limited) report having held their fourth sale of this season on Thursday, February 22. The.- total quantity offered by the selling brokers was 2106 bales. Oui catalogue consisted of 188 bales. Buyers were in full atter.da_ce, and although prices were barely uj to those ruling at lasi sale, there was keen competition, up to buyers' values. The naosi noticeable change was in 'ftne wools, which were Jd to Id lower. Crossbreds were slightlj lower, .but scarcely suffered so much. , On th< other hand, pieces, bellies, and locks were well coirpeted for, and showed some advance compared with former sales — these were nearly al 'taken by scourers. • The following is the range o: prices throughout the day: — Greasy merinoSuper, 10£ dto lljd; medium to goqd, 9Jd tc lOJd; inferior, 8d to 9Jd.
