MR A. L. PETRIE, M.L.A. AND DR WILLIAMS' PINK PILLS.

No public man is more esteemed or better known throughout Queensland than Air A. L. Petrie, M.L.A. for Toombul, whose endorsement of the virtues claimed for Dr Williams' Pink Pills the proprietors are to be congratulated upon having obtained. Indeed, the opinion of Mr Petrie upon all affairs of public interest is so highly respected that oue reporter called upon him for an interview regarding the matter. The reporter was cordially received by Mr Petrie, who remarked : " You may not know that my health has been, impaired somewhat for several years by attacks of rheumatism and indigestion. I first; felt a dull, aching pain in my shoulders and limbs, and some stiffness of the muscles. Later on the digestive organs became impaired. The medical skill available to combat my complaints gave me only Blight relief." Mr Petrie then went on to say that his appetite quite deserted him, and although he forced himself to eat, he could not take his food with relish, and there would follow a sense of weight, discomfort, and sleepiness. At times thore was a bitter taste in his mouth and other functional derangements which are common with indigestion. Headaches also now and again troubled him, and his ill-health seemed to

take away that brightness and activity which characterised him. Noticing the advertise-n-ent in the daily papers concerning Dr Williams' pink pills, Mr Petrie decided to try them, and did so with signal success. He used the pills acording to directions for about four weeks before an improvement was noticeable, but after that his troubles perceptibly decreased, and before long he was enabled to discontinue the pills, as he found himself perfectly cured, not only of indigestion, but of rheumatism also. As it is over two years since he used the pills, there is no doubt whatever about the permanency of his cure. He is confident that it was Dr Williams' pink pills alone which cured him, as he used no other remedies, and several of his friends and relatives have to his personal knowledge obtained great benefit from them. He has pleasure in. recommending Dr Williams' pink pills to all sufferers from rheumatism and indigestion.

The reporter having thanked Mr Petrie for the interview, bade him " Good-morning."

The question is sometimes asked how it is that Dr Williams' pink pills cure so many diseases. The answer is, because they enrich the blood and nerves, and act upon the causes of diseabe, not on the mere symptoms. They are, moreover, the prescription of a highly qualified Edinburgh physician, manufactured in. marketable form. They cure neuralgia, bronchitis, consumption, scrofula, rickets, paralysis, exhaustion, debility, antemia, after effects of influenza, fevers, measles, etc. Sold by chemists and storekeepers, and by the ''Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, N.Z., three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and sixpence (post free). See that every package you buy bears the full name, Dr Williams' pink pills for pale people, printed in red ink on the white outside wrapper, as many, worthless imitations are on the market.

Mr Petrie's office and the extensive monumental works which he controls, are situated at Toowong. — Advt.
