From the land of the kowhai and lawyer, Tho broadleaf and wild clinging vine, The rata and starry clematis, Whose tendrils the bush trees entwine, We send thee a Christmas greeting: A"B gay as tho wild, brilliant flowers That smilo with bewildering beauty, And gladden our bright summer hours.
