CLINTON.
December 2. — The Balclutha and Clinton '- second elevens tried conclusions on the local ground on Saturday. The local team came off victorious by an innings and 2 tuns. At the conclusion of the game the -visitors were well treated at tho hands of the local boys. Shearing. — Shearing has now started on some " of the stations, but will not be general until the middle of tha month, the farmers preferring to have all their turnips in before they start.
