December 4. — Since my last we have had abundance of rain, and r.ow everything on hill and dale is looking green, no irrigation being required this season Pastoral. — The peicentage of lambs this season is very good. Mining. — The local share market has been quite brisk during^ the past week. — Electioneering is, thank goodness, nearly at an end for a time. If the Oppositon man wins, it will be a big cut to the other side, as there has not been any particular effort made to secure his leturn, whilst the other sido hs3 brought to bear on the people of the electorate ail the influence possible.
