LONDON, November 16. Queen's weather prevailed •on the occa» sion of the, Queen's visit to Bristol. ,Nina thousand v troops and volunteers lined tha route for six miles, while the streets were gaily decorated. The Queen, replying to an address pre- , sented by the Lord Mayor, said it gave her great pleasure to revisit a city which, was associated with the history of Great Britain and her colonies oversea. A sense of brotherhood was , welding the Empire in peace. This brotherly spirit had been manifested in the hourvof trial. The Queen congratulated the district on the valour of its soldiers and sailors in South Africa. Her Majesty then opened the convalescents* home. When leaving she remarked that it was a beautiful and noble home. A choir of 27,000 children sang several selections of music. Princess Beatrice and the Duchess of Connaught were present.
