The Education Board has decided to offer or competition this year twenty Scholarships —ten Jiinior and ten Senior — and the examinaiens in connection with the same will comnence at 9 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, the 12th December^ The names of intending competitors for these Scholarships, together with certificates of their iges, must be lodged with me on or before SATURDAY, 25th November. The optional mbjects chosen by competitors for Senior scholarships must be specified. Competitors for Junior Scholarships must not' ac over thirteen years of age on Ist December lext, and competitors for Senior Scholarships nust not be over fifteen years of ige on same date; but competitors intending public schools having not nore than two certificated teachers receive k concession of one year in age. Svery competitor who claims a year's con:ession in age on account of attending a school laving not mere than two certificated teachers nust furnish me with certificate from * the lead Teacher as to tho time he has attended uch school.
