DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club, held last Thursday, was attended by Messrs Solomon (in the chair), Grindley, Tigers, Miller, Dawson, and Coughlan. Apologies were received from Messrs Myers and Ponsonby. The Programme Committee reported having prepared the programme for the season 18991900, and agreed upon the following dated: — Spring meeting, Wednesday and Saturday, October 4 and 7, 1899; Summer meeting, Thursday and Saturday, November 23 and 25, 1899; Autumn meeting, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, March 21, 23, and 24, 1900; Winter meeting, Thursday and Saturday, May 24 and 26, 1900. The clii^f alterations last seabon's programme are that the Duneuin Stakes at the Summer meeting has been altered to a Two-year-old Handicap, the Champagne and Eclipse Stakes at the Autumn meetina; have been struck out, and a Two-year-.old Handicap substituted for the Champagne, and the Wingatui Stake* (weight for age, with penalties and allowance?) substituted for the Eclipse Stakes.
