G. — Perhaps your horse is suffering from internal parasites. It would be worth your while to watch his fsccos. It may be that some of his tenants have received notice of instant removal. The history you give of the case does not indicate mud fever. L. 3?. D. — Your mare seems to be suffering from some mouth affection, and the trouble is to localise it. Therefore it would be advisable to call in an experienced veterinary burgeon and have a thorough examination made, as it is no use doing anything in a haphazard way, expecting to cure an unknown aiiiiteut. Floddek Field.— lf the swelling is filled with fluid, it will probably get absorbed or point and burst; but there would be danger in lancing it, as sometimes there is great difficulty in controlling the aftei hemorrhage. Apply a light bandage saturated with an astringent lotion until it disappears. C. L. A. — Probably there may be s< me rrattor remaining in the seat of the nail wound. Have the foot carefully examined by applying pressure with a pair of pincers, when flinching will bo a guide to the centre of the lesion. If pus is forming underneath the frog, an opening numt lx> miulo for its egress, and apply tow saturated with carbolised oil and a little tar ointmont, kept in its place with a leather solo.
