TREBLE DUX, £16 16s.

As above, but with third furrow that can bo detached if temporarily abort of horses. From Jarne.s F. Aysou, Kaihiku. January 10, 1899. I worked a Double-furrow Dux Plough in the '97 season with every satisfaction, completing my ploughing with three horses. I then purchased a Treble, which with four horses showed me a further economy, and 1 ploughed 200 acres, I am well pleased with the ploughs and can recommend them. From Begg Bros., Hillend. December 30, 1898. The Three-furrow Ploughs we got from you are working satisfactorily. From James Fox, Arrow. January 21, 1899. The Three-farrow Dux Plough I bought from you, June 1, 1893, is giving me satisfaction in every way ; four horses work it ; tho draught v not heavy. I can recommend it as a useful implement. From Jas. Smith and Sons, Greenfield. January 9, 1899. Ro the Three-furrow Dux Ploughs. They have given U3 entire satisfaction. For hill sides they are far and away before the Doublo Furrows, as they stick in the ground instead of sliding down the hill. They also bury the weeds and stubble particularly well. We v gofc Qver our autumn and spring ploughing with them in good time, which we could not have done without them, and at a very much reduced- cost, one man with five hordes doing an average • of four acres ocr day, as against four horses with Double Furrow doing two and three-quarter acres; .the pxtra cost for the third furrow being, therefore Is 6d. The great advantage, howover, i.s getting the work over and done in good time. We got eight of them from you, and are of opinion they have repaid us their price already— i.e., 12 weeks at 30s per week ; the ploughs being apparently as good as ever. From Jas. Kelly, Riversdale. January 7, 1899. Ro Dux Ploughs. I -am thoroughly well pleased with the work done by them on lea and stubble last year. I ploughed 400 acres lea, using two Three-furrow Dux Ploughs and ono Double Furrow of the best colonial make, using four horses each in all three ploughs, and I could not see any difference in draught between two and three furrow ploughs. The crops (oats and wheat) are equally good on work done by all three ploughs. They are also a firstclass stubble plough. I consider them the best imported plough I have seen.
