T-wo young men — named Joseph St-ett and John Guthrie — look half 'a keg ot' -gunpowder into a blacksmith's shop at "•Berliampote this afternoon and spilt some. They put; a mateli " for a lark " to the looso powder, but il communicated with tlifi keg "and the place was blown to atoms. Fortunately they vere some distance from the main explosion, but both were badly | burned, and Guthrie will probably lose the sight of one eve.
