by the forcible addresses of the Revs. J. Gibb, W. Saunderd, and Dean Fitchelt. The musical items comprised solos — " Crossing the bar," by Miss Calder, and "Angels ever bright and fair," by Miss Allen ; a duet, "iSocturne," by Misbes Rule and Robertson ; and a quartet, " Suabian Volkslied." Plenty of time was given for introductions and opportunities to begin friendships, and the two hours' slipped past on wings. The proceedings were brought to a close by a vote of thanks, proposed by Professor Salmond, coupled with a word of kindly advice and encouragement, after which tho doxology was 6ung, and the gathering dispersed.
