GOVERNMENT TELEPHONES
LONDON, March 7. Mr Hanbury, Secretary to the Treasury, has explained that the Government propose* to establish post office telephones, Gonimencing at London, at an outlay of two millions. The annual subscription -will be £3, with tbi" imposition of a small toll. This is the ou6'; come of the recent agitation in London ■ against the present system, which is in the hands of private enterprise.
