I MARKET REPORT. 1 Messrs Edward Thomas and Co., Bond street, Dunedin, wool, skin, hair, and hide merchants, report: — Rabbitskins.— This market remains firm at present, and although a special line of winters obtained an advanced price, rulings were otherwise unchanged from last week. Hair showed a further decline, the nrice in the sales this week being 12d to 13Jd. Hide 3 are easing off slightly. The effect of the lowering of foreign markets is beginning to be felt here. Sheepskins. — Sales were a little animated, and prices for sound halfbred and merino hardened a little.

SKIN AND HIDE REPORT. Messrs Remshardt and Co. (.near railway, , station) report as follows: — Rabbitskins. — The quantity offered in this week's sales was below the average, and in consequence prices of some sorts went a shade higher, more especially of selected skins, which sold irom 18d to 19|d for estrn, choice. Prices on the whole were irregular, particularly for mixed and inferior lots. We notice a considerable portion of many of the parcels coming in now consists of spring skins — some of them very spotted, — and we would advise rabbiters to keep their lately-caught skins apart from their earlier catches, elso they may be disappointed with the average price realised for tho two sorts together.
