Deihting Society.— The subject ut last meeting of the debating society was, "Should Bachelois be Taxed?" Misa Quin argued in the affirmative and Mr \V. Mackie in the negative, and on a vote of those present being taken, the verdict was that bachelors should not be taxed. There was a good attendance.
