THE VALUE Of ADVICE.
" You can always get plenty oi advice bec.usa it doesn't cost anything, and coustqueutly isn't of any ralue." Thus s*y many cynical p&ople with v?hom tho world has nofc gone very well. Bui cynics frequently make mistakes in forgetting that exceptions prove the rule. The advice of ono friend to soother is sometimes of iuestiinable value. Mr Tate, of Ithica Cottage, Iliawaria road, M&rrickville, has proved the truth of the remark. "I was suffering fearfully from influenza and its after-effects," he says. "A friend recommended me to take Dr Willtemß' Piuk Pills for Pale People. I did so, and am now completely cured. After 30 years' immunity from trouble, influenza gripped me, and ifc grsppad me pretty tight. Without wwning, I suddenly became ill. I always had a lir«t class appetite ;it left me altogether. Positively I could est nothing at all. Heavy headsches attacked me, and they continued to increase in violence; a Bpß6m ghot across my chest and an overpowering weight oppressed me there ; I felfc a sickening contraction of the skin and an ominous gathering cf phlegmatic matter thab choked free respiration ; raj whole che*t, onca fiim and sound, became, sore, tender, and irritable ; I found myeelf unable to sleep, whilsb on the top of all these stvanga and un&ccounfabla sensations came * sharp snd persistent cough that sucked up all my strength and stirred the phlegm, but failed to move it. Dull, heavy, listless, faint, and aching, I went to work, aud got; through somehow. A friend recommended Dr Williams' Pink Pills, and I took them. After a few boxes had been taken, I was, honestly, completely cured. I kept on taking them a little longer, juet to make doubly sure, but there was no necesßity. I was absolutely cured, felt tip-top, «tnd bad bade farewell to influenza and its ills. "Yes," he said, deliberatingly, "the marvel had been quicker than ever I had anticipated. Influenza, headaches, eleeplessuess, want o£ appetite, listlessnesß, racking cough, ones'; pains, weaknessj and phlegm all disappeared as if under 9, magician's wand. I was as right, as fresh, as healthy, and as high-spirited as I ever was in my life. "Of course," he said conscientiously, "its only a fair thing that I should tell you this after the benefits I've received. My case may not have been as severe as some, but; it certainly gave myeelf and family the greatest anxiety, as my cure gave them the greatest surprise and pleasure. .1 give you these particulars exactly as they occurred, without exaygeiation and with truth in every detail, Nor do I wish them exaggerated.
