Rowdy but Mysterious.
According to a Dijon newspaper some "'cry remarkable "manifestations" have been taking place at a little collage occupied by a lespeitable wca\ci- at Laroche-on-Breuil. lie and lus wi l e !ur*o bean greilly alarmed and dir.trc^ed by erifiie movements of their furniture, the smashing by some ur>?oen agency of their china and glass, and tl-e hurling about of (heir culinary uloiimls and other poi table objects. The local authorities have inquired ii.lo th.3 matter without being able to arrive at any solution of the mystery. Many visitors have witnessed ihe " phenomcua," and tno police and dcteclwes have instituted n strut watch without discovering anything to account for the strange disturbances. Tho place ha.-* al.so been exorcised by a pricit, but without effect.
