The Westport Coal Company's tenders wetc accepted as follow :— At Wellington, 4fiO9 tons., 10s; at Granitv Crock, West Coast, 6s 4d. The Weslport-Cardiff Company is to supply 1000 tons at Timaru at 16s 6il.

Accoidiugto the Oamaru Mail, the local millers on Saturday reduced the price of flour 'by 10s per ton. The Egthont Farmers' Union (Limited) report under date Hawera, July 14 : —At Mania on the 13th inst. a good number of stock came forward. The attendance was &mall, and bidding for all classes of stock was practically neglected, resulting in but little business being done.
