THE LOBO CASE.
Wansanui, May 26,
The appeal of Mr J. R. Sfcwell, of Oanwu, against the decision of the Dunedin Jockey Club, which disqualified him, M. Evans (trainer), J. Cotton (jockey), and the horse Lobo has been upheld. The judges were unanimously of opinion that the evidence did not prove the appellants responsible for the alleged inconsistent running of Lobo at Dunedin on March 23 and 24. Costs will follow the judgment.
