May 31. Prince Charlie, while exercising at Wanganui last week, broke the fetlock joint of the off foreleg, necessitating his being destroyed. Prince Charlie, half-brother to Douglas, was a sen of Foul Play and Good Frviit, and was owned by Mr H. M. Campbell, of Hawke's Bay.
