A .special comuritibse of the Canterbury Industrial Association bo-day .decided bo recommend -the association to at once announce ite i-ivention of holding an exhibition of .New Zea-lar-a manufactures and jjrooucts under tihe management of tbe In«u*brial Aesociation in ISOO, to 45tlebrate the Jubilee of Canterbury It was decided to recommend that the Canterbury Jockey Club and Agricultural and Pastoral Association should be asked to hold their metropolitan fixtures in the Jnbilse year in DdCdinber instead of November so as to fall in with the Jubilee celebrations which will take jalace io the latter month. It was also agreed to recommend the appointment of committees on similar lines to those of the last Canterbury Industrial Exhibition.
