HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

The ordinary meeting of the Dunedin Hospital Trustees, held on tbe 16th, was attended by Menst\< P. M.ller (chaiirmauj, J. Robin, W. Wills. H. Clark, W. Wn'ght, J. N. Browu, S. S. The bank book showed a ctedit balance of £130 Hs2d — The reported was adopted Messrs M&feou and Wales recommended that repairs be iffected to tha turret recently domaged by fire, and alterations effected, at a total cost of £4-0. Repairs to the clock tower were rpcomtnended at a cost of £45, and the renewal of slates at a cost of £10. The question of the appointment of a senior and junior house surgeon was discussed. Tivo applications were received. One ap'olieant applied for both positions, and the other for the junior position.
