(Specially Written for the Otago Witness.) Dear Pasquin,—Rickards Biograph Company, recently at Adelaide, play Perth to February 22. Miss Lilian Tree, tenor Phil Newbury, and H. J. Emmett retired from the company in Adelaide, and ventriloquist J. W. Winton joined at the same city. Dolly Eicon, Ray Dorris, Charles Dillon, and the Waldrons are to join at Perth. After Perth Coolgardie and Fiemantle will be visited, the company returning to Perth for a month at Creniome Gardens. , Manager Marcus ("the most gentlemanly man in front"), recently in charge of It'ckards Biograph Company, returned to Sydney last week to take over the management of the Cartwright Dramatic Company. A report found its way into print that an infant son of tenor Phil Newbury had been run over by a tram in Queensland. Phil denies this simply but emphatically.
