DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.

The monthly meeting of the Committee o? the Dunedin Jockey Club was held last Thursday. Piesenfc — The Hon. G. The Chairman reported that his Excellency the Governor aud Lady Kanfurly had accepted the club's invitation to attend the Jubilee meeting in March, and that satisfactory arrangements had now been made so as to allow his Excellency to be at the course at 2 30 p.m., in time to see the Dunedin Cup run on the 23rd March. — In order to allow the Cup to be run at the time stated it was resolved — "That the Maiden Plate be run as the second race instead of the sixth in the programme, thus facing three races before the Cup instead of two as formerly,"
