THE PREMIER ON TEE WEST COAST.
Westfoht, Januarjs2s. The Premier arrived in Weatport on Sunday from Greymouth. On Monday he received deputations, and in the afternoon ha proceeded to Denniston, where he waa entertained at a banquet by the Denuiaton Miners' Union. Ia the evening he was entertained at a banquet in Westport, aboub 250 ladies and gentlemen being presenb. To-day- he wenb to Seddonville, and received a deputation on local requirements. To-night he delivered apolitical address in the Victoria Theatre, aboub 800 being present. The speech was mainly a repetition of that delivered iv the other Coast towns. At the conclusion of his address a vote of thanks and confidence in the Government was carried unanimously. Mr Sedden leaves for Reefton in the morning by co^ch.
