Alpine Extended. —The foliowiue; is the mine manager's report' for the week ending yesterday :—": — " The No. 10 main level has been extended south for a distance of 20ft, making the total distance completed 130 ft. The leef is still broken, but, from the appearance of the face," is making into a rnoie solid body again. The drive on the bianch lvef to the wes>t, at the worth end of No. 10 level, has been extended a further distance of 12ft for live days' diivine. making the total distance driven 18ft. The reef has widened, to 7ft aud contained "payable gold, but on Thursday morning bard rock came in find cut tbeieef lam still driving ahead i\nd shall continue till the proper foot-wall is met and tbe reef is picked up again. Thirty tons of stone have been seni to the battery during tbe week."
