Messrs Edward Thomas and Co., Bond street, Dunedin, report :— Ra^bitskin<i. — Fuir-size'i catalogues were submitted at the sales on Monday last, and all nief; with fan- competition, the lower grades doing, however, better in propoition than the hitrlier. Suckers and runners brought fiopn Id to CVd ; light racks, 2Jd to 4d ; lacks-, id to b'd ; autumns, 6d to Sd ; iucow>in<» and early wiutsis, Sd to 11/Jd ; and a few full winters up to Hid. Oouxignments, we are pleased to note, are beginning to come in more freely, and as the skius are improving in

Value we have besn able in many instances to _teturn more than auction prices. These were, however, for exceptionally good skins, and we are prepared to take any quantity of this clais and guarantee good prices on them. Sheepskins are also coming in freely, and good teoucd pelted crossbreds and half breds bring up to 4Jd per lb. Hair.—Good horse remains firm, while extra clean straight tail fetches a farthing more. SKIN MARKET REPORT. Messrs J. H. Kirk and Co., Bond street, report for the week ending June 9 :—: — Skins are coming forward in very small quantities this season owing to the freezing business. We are taking everything offered to us at the following figures :—Prime winters, lljd ; ssconds, lOd ; autumns, BJd ; summers, 6d. We have still to supply some 500 bales, so can guarantee top prices for the season. Sheepskins, 5d per lb for longwool crossbreds in prime condition. 1J ides to 3sd per lb. We require 1000 prime ox hides before the end of July. Horsehair to | 15d. Above prices net cash. EABBITSKINS. The Farmers' Agency Company, Limited, held their weekly sale on Monday, and offered a fair i catologue. Bidding was brisk, and prices firm as 1 under: —Early winter brought 10d to 13id ; do ; blacks, 91 to lljd; kte autumns, 8d to 9d ; j summer skins, 6sd to 7d ; suckers, etc , 4d to 6Jd. ■ ■ We sell every Monday at 2 o'clock, and remit ; proceeds same week.
