Notes from Lyell.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Lylux, June 4. The mine manager reports from the Lyell Creek Extended Company's mine for the week as follows:—"'The contractors for the main shaft have sunk a farther depth of 4ft; total depth completed, 62ft. The country continues favourable for sinking. The contractors for the tramway i will be near the completion of their work of formation by the end of the present week."
